James Green has worked in maxillofacial and dental technology for more than 25 years; 20 of which have been spent at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.

He has delivered more than 50 invited lectures, both nationally and internationally, and published more than 25 peer-reviewed journal articles. James has received several awards, including the British Orthodontic Society Technicians Award (2002) and the British Orthodontic Society Award to an Orthodontic Technician for Distinguished Service (2024) and is the first to have received both awards. James is Secretary of the Orthodontic Technicians Association and a Past President of the Dental Technologists Association.
