Professor Kathryn Taylor

Kathryn qualified from Sheffield and continued her junior and specialist maxillofacial training (AACOMS) in the Yorkshire region, at Leeds she completed her basic science PhD. On completion of training Kate was appointed Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant at Liverpool and is currently Chair and Honorary Consultant in Oral Surgery and has Fellowships from Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh and is Lead for Dental Programmes and DClinDent in Oral Surgery at University of Central Lancashire.

Kate’s clinical interests are in conscious sedation, oral surgery and medical education, she is on ABAOMS and BAOS Council and is current Chair of Dental Sedation Teachers’ Group. She is an examiner for M Oral Surgery, ISFE and MOMS.
