Dr Michael Tang

Michael qualified in 2002 from Glasgow Dental School and soon after graduating, he developed an interest in oral surgery and dental implants. In 2012, he was awarded a Master’s in Dental Implantology.

He accepts referrals for all aspects of implant dentistry from colleagues across Scotland and North of England. His ‘Refer and Restore’ Programme is particularly popular with clinicians who want to be part of their patients’ implant journey.

Michael mentors and trains many less experienced dentists. He is co-founder of the Scottish Dental Academy which provides training courses for dental professionals. The current Implant Year Course has been hugely popular, with the next cohort starting October 2025.
