Dentistry is a blend of scientific and artistic elements: evidence-based clinical care with an aesthetic component. Perhaps this attracts creative individuals to the subject. 

Art in Clinical Training (A.C.T) was an initiative developed during the pandemic. This was a time where community spirit was crucial and creative outlets were limited. 

The aim of this project was to create a trainee and trainer community through co-creation, and to showcase the talents of clinical trainees to the public with a range of themed ‘pop-up’ art galleries. 

A.C.T. has constantly developed over the past few years and we now have created a community of dental students all united by artistic interests and talents. Come along to our stand to see all our work on display or to chat to us about getting involved with the group!
