What’s new from NSK?
Ti-Max Z high performance turbines bring high speed handpieces to a new level. Their unprecedented power cuts quickly through even the toughest of materials such as zirconia, offering improved accessibility and visibility compared to the previous model thanks to two smaller head designs (Z990L and Z890L). A lightweight titanium body and enhanced grip, thanks to a Duragrip coating also helps to reduce hand fatigue.
NLZ E is a new lightweight, compact portable Electric Micromotor system for general applications with speed increasing (red band), 1:1 direct drive (blue band) or speed reducing (green band) contra-angle handpieces. This new motor features functions for rotary and reciprocating endodontics and also enables you to check your handpiece is in full working order, giving three results: OK, OIL, or NG (repair). Installation options include a portable option, or ‘semi built-in’ using the fixing bracket provided.
The NLZ E requires access to a plug socket, and the use of an existing Midwest hose from the cart to gain access to coolant water, air and the existing foot control.
SOFTpearl expands NSK’s powder therapy range with glycine-based powder (65μm) that gently removes moderate supragingival staining. It has a pleasant taste and contains no added flavourings making it ideal for children and patients with allergies. The powder is water soluble ensuring fast and easy clean-up.
