The aim of this session is to explore ways of shifting the focus from selling dentistry to helping patients achieve their desired outcome.
Objectives
By the end of this session participants will have been:
- Introduced to language patterns that build trust and encourage informed decisions.
- Guided on how to frame treatment recommendations in a way that resonates with patients.
- Provided with strategies to handle concerns about cost, fear and urgency.
- Outlined a simple process to boost case acceptance.

By the end of this session participants should be able to:
- Understand the emotional drivers behind patient decisions
- Recognise the core emotional needs that influence treatment acceptance.
- Use rapport-building techniques to create stronger patient relationships.
- Understand the psychology of decision-making and how to ethically guide patients to acceptance.
