Carol Rafferty

Carol Rafferty is CEO of Dentherapy Ltd, a life sciences company developing therapeutic oral care products for the global market. Having spent a career in dentistry as a dental hygienist, Carol was appointed Senior Dental Nurse Tutor with NHS Education for Scotland (NES) in 2006, leading the Dental Nurse Training Programme in Grampian and Tayside.

Carol and her co-founder have built an experienced team of biochemists, oral care

industry experts, academics and key opinion leaders who share their passion for bringing new solutions to oral care, to address the oral health needs of individuals at all stages of life.

ADA Forsyth Institute selected Dentherapy to present Toothboost® Technology at Dentech 2023. Its patent-pending multifunctional formulation combines

remineralising and biofilm inhibition functions delivered in an easy-to-use no-rinse oral spray. Toothboost Oral Mist, an adjunct product designed to boost mouth care between brushing, will launch later in 2024.
