Emma O‘Keefe

Emma is part of the Realistic Dentistry group, which includes members across the profession, including General Dental Service, Public Dental Service and Hospital Dental Service dentists, dental researchers, staff at the Practitioner Services Division, plus post-graduate trainees and educators of dental students.

The group advocates for, and pioneers the adoption of a person-centred, value-based approach to dentistry. The creation of the group was inspired by the successful outcomes of value-based care in other areas of NHS Scotland.

The Realistic Dentistry group aims to operate at a national level to help meet the profession’s unique challenges and realise its ambitions.
