Ian Corbett

Ian Corbett is a Consultant Oral Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Newcastle upon Tyne with a private practice covering the North of England.

Graduated from King’s College London and Newcastle University, has a PhD in Pathology, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Ian has a special interest in local anaesthesia, advanced sedation, and orthodontic surgery, and has more than 20 years of experience in Maxillofacial trauma.

Having spent several years in undergraduate education, Ian now concentrates on postgraduate training, was Examinations Convenor for RCS Edinburgh, Chair of Tricollegiate Examinations and is currently a member of the SAC for Oral Surgery.
