Ms Margaret Black

Margaret Black (RDH) is a dedicated dental hygienist with a passion for education and preventive oral healthcare. With extensive clinical experience, she has developed specialised expertise in identifying and managing dry mouth and its impact on oral and overall health.

In her role with Oralieve, she educates dental and healthcare professionals on evidence-based strategies to recognise, manage and prevent xerostomia (dry mouth). Through engaging presentations and collaborative learning, she empowers providers with practical tools to improve patient outcomes. Margaret is committed to raising awareness about dry mouth and advancing comprehensive, patient-centred care.

Margaret still enjoys her clinical role in general practices in Broughty Ferry and Dundee, engaging with and treating patients while also advocating for local patient support groups.
