Karen Abbott

Karen Abbott is registered with the GDC and has a 41-year background in dental nursing, specialising in oral surgery, maxillofacial care, radiography and sedation.

This experience has been brought to the role of Dental Specialist Clinical Skills Facilitator and BLS instructor at the School of Dentistry, University of Leeds, with translation to the NHS care provided in Leeds Dental Institute.

Karen has a Level 3 Award in Education and Teaching (AET) and is currently working toward a Level 4.
