The Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry (SCED) is a renowned referral centre that consistently goes the extra mile for referring dentists and patients with a fantastic team of leading experts in a range of fields. We look after more than 1,500 referrers and their patients.

Our clinical team has more than 350 years’ experience combined and more than 100 years dedicated to implant dentistry.

We care for patients that are both self-referred and referred by dentists and are proud to treat them using cutting edge technology by clinicians who are at the forefront of digital dentistry. Working with digitally innovative technology means that minimally invasive advanced options are available. By having our laboratory onsite, we are able to offer a unique personal service for both patients and clinicians.

Our cutting edge 3D printers are CAD/CAM compatible with all implant systems and our range of  intraoral scanners allows for 3D visual outcomes to be discussed with patients. This improved digital workflow between dentists and laboratories increases productivity.

Our clinic is proud to be continually developing a team of over nine expert clinicians and three hygienists, all of whom are instrumental in allowing us to maintain and enhance our reputation as a leading multi-disciplinary referral centre. Our highly skilled dental nurses are proficient in dental radiography, impression taking, intraoral scanning and digital pathways. The fantastic team at SCED, including our support staff administrators and dedicated referral and treatment co-ordinators, enables us to offer first class customer care throughout the patient journey.

Training and education are at the forefront of what we do, to ensure that we are continually improving and learning, while our vision is to expand and continue providing first class care for our patients. In our ever-changing environment we look forward to introducing more team members as we plan our expansion with an additional three surgeries and seminar space.
