WHW is an award-winning UK dental manufacturer and supplier, widely recognised for its ability to blend long-standing craftsmanship with forward-thinking digital innovation. As one of the last remaining dental manufacturers in the UK, the company continues to uphold its core values of quality, reliability, and exemplary customer service while pioneering the technologies that are shaping the future of dentistry.

Established in 1960, WHW began by producing acrylic teeth and denture base materials. Throughout the 1980s, the company expanded significantly, evolving into a comprehensive supplier to dental laboratories nationwide. Today, its product portfolio spans everything from essential consumables to high-value, cutting-edge digital equipment – empowering dental laboratories of all sizes across the UK and globally.

Commitment to Digital Innovation

Digital transformation sits at the heart of WHW’s growth. The company has emerged as a key leader in dental 3D printing, supplying hundreds of units and experiencing strong demand for its expanding range of specialist 3D printing resins. WHW provides a complete ecosystem of digital tools – including 3D printers, curing units, resins, accessories, and software – allowing laboratories to embrace digital workflows with confidence and efficiency.

In addition to 3D printing, WHW continues to invest in advanced CAD/CAM technologies. These tools enable precise digital design, enhanced production accuracy, and the development of next-generation restorative solutions. One standout example is the Centrilux range of digitally designed acrylic teeth, combining aesthetics, functionality, and repeatable precision through innovative digital manufacturing.

Training and support for modern laboratories

WHW is deeply committed to developing the skills and confidence of today’s and tomorrow’s dental technicians. The company delivers a diverse and growing range of training courses, many offering verifiable CPD. These cover both classical dental techniques and the latest digital methods shaping modern restorative workflows. A fully equipped digital suite in East Sussex allows for hands-on, immersive learning, demonstrations, and professional development tailored to the needs of evolving dental practices and laboratories.

A family business with a global outlook

Despite substantial growth, WHW remains a family-run company with a strong customer-first ethos. Its manufacturing operations are based in Hull, while its digital, sales, and training facilities in East Sussex support customers nationwide. This dual-location approach allows WHW to maintain the personal, relationship-driven values that have defined it for more than six decades, while expanding its influence and reach across global dental markets.

At the Scottish Dental Show, WHW proudly showcases three standout innovations: the Ceramill Motion Air, the RayShape Edge Mini Printer, and the 3Delta resin range – advanced solutions designed to deliver exceptional performance for both clinicians and laboratory technicians.

Ceramill Motion Air

The Ceramill Motion Air is a compact, high-precision 5-axis dry-milling machine engineered for dental practices and laboratories. It offers outstanding accuracy across materials such as zirconia, PMMA, composite, wax, and PEEK. Featuring an integrated compressor for flexible installation, an intuitive 10-inch touchscreen, guided workflows, and smart tool management, it ensures seamless and efficient production. Remote monitoring via the Ceramill Go app further enhances workflow visibility and productivity.

RayShape Edge Mini Printer

The RayShape Edge Mini is a compact chairside dental 3D printer designed for rapid, high-precision production of models, surgical guides, splints, dentures, and temporary restorations. Its fully automated workflow reduces patient wait times and streamlines clinical efficiency. Dual-platform functionality supports both fine-detail and high-capacity printing, while its modular resin system ensures easy handling and maintenance. Fast print cycles and an intuitive interface make it ideal for modern digital clinics.

3Delta Resin Range

The 3Delta resin range provides high-performance, light-curing materials designed for precision additive manufacturing. Its portfolio includes the Classic, Aesthetic, and Stone model lines – each offering unique visual and functional benefits. All resins are TPO-free and compatible with both 385 nm and 405 nm printers. Beyond model resins, the range includes denture bases, gingiva masks, impression trays, castable materials and permanent crown solutions such as 3Delta Crown. These materials deliver strength, reliability, and aesthetic excellence across digital workflows.
