The aim of this workshop is to introduce delegates to the multiple roles required for a successful “Smile in a Day” full-arch implant surgery.

Objectives

By the end of this session participants will have been:

  1. Familiar implant drill sequence in relation to full arch.
  2. Familiar with the role of photogrammetry and how this can be delegated.
  3. Familiar with the use of IV drugs during surgery and how this can be delegated.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this session participants should be able to:

  1. Understand the drill sequence for full-arch implant placements perioperatively.
  2. Understand the role of photogrammetry in full-arch implant surgery.
  3. Understand the role of IV drugs during full arch implant surgery.
  4. Understand the role of skill mix in surgery and how this relates to our own professional roles.
